Which Hudson County town saw the biggest population BOOM last year?
Although Jersey City’s mayor hopes it will one day take the lead over Newark as NJ’s most populous city, Secaucus gave it a run for its money last year! According to the newly released Census, Secaucus had grown by 3.85 percent from 2014 to 2015 with a population of 18,395 to 19,104, respectively. Signs of the town’s growth are everywhere, from expanding schools to new apartment buildings under construction. Harrison was a close second, with a 3.14 percent growth rate, followed by West New York with a 2.12 percent growth rate from 2014. Overall, Hudson County’s population has flourished at a faster pace in 2015 than any other county in New Jersey!
